Obligation Tracker · Stage 5 of 7 · Track

What each side promised, with a name and a date against it.

Signing is not the end of a contract. Azenye reads each executed agreement and pulls out payment terms, deliverables, SLAs, reporting duties and exit obligations, then assigns each one to an owner with a due date and reminders.

Section 5. Obligation Tracker

Operative clauses
  1. 5.1

    Extracted from the executed copy

Azenye identifies obligations on both sides: what you must pay or deliver and what the counterparty owes you. Each one is linked to the exact clause, so nobody has to go back to the PDF.

  2. 5.2

    Owners and due dates

Assign obligations to a person or team. Recurring items, such as monthly SLA reports or quarterly reviews, generate their own schedule. Owners get reminders before each due date.

Finance sees payment terms. Engineering sees SLAs.

  3. 5.3

    Service levels and credits

Track uptime commitments, response times and service credit formulas. When a vendor misses an SLA, the credit you are owed is visible alongside the clause that grants it.

  4. 5.4

    Compliance obligations

Security audit rights, data breach notification windows, data deletion on exit and insurance certificates are tracked like any other deliverable, with evidence attached when they are met.

  5. 5.5

    One view across every contract

See every open obligation across vendors and customers, filtered by owner, department or due date. Overdue items are marked in red so they are dealt with, not discovered.

  6. 5.6

    Evidence on file

Attach invoices, reports and certificates to the obligation they satisfy. At audit time, you can show not only what was promised but that it was delivered.

Questions about Obligation Tracker

Q1Does it work on contracts signed outside Azenye?

Yes. Upload signed PDFs, including scanned ones, and Azenye extracts obligations from them in the same way.

Q2Can we edit what the AI extracts?

Always. Extracted obligations are suggestions until someone confirms them. You can edit, merge or add obligations by hand.

Q3Who gets reminded?

The owner of each obligation, with optional copies to their manager and the contract owner. You choose the reminder schedule.
